What is LEDP? 

The Liberty Extended Day Program (LEDP) is a before and after-school program for the families of Pittsburgh Liberty K-5. A program that has been around for more than 40 years, we are dedicated to helping families thrive and ensuring the appropriate development of all kids. 

When is LEDP? 

We are open for before-school care from 7:00 am to 8:55 am. We take the kids directly to their classes at 9:00 am. We are open for after-school care from 3:45 pm to 6:00 pm. We pick the kids up directly from their classes and take them down to the cafeteria. 

Where is LEDP?

We run out of the cafeteria at Pittsburgh Liberty K-5. This is where families can drop off and pick up their children. 

Who can join LEDP?

Any student currently attending Pittsburgh Liberty K-5. 

Does LEDP offer homework time/help?

Yes! Everyday Monday through Thursday, there is a set time for students to start/ complete homework. Students, however,  can ask for homework help at any time by any of our wonderful staff. 

Does LEDP provide snacks? 

Yes! In the morning, breakfast is provided through the school at 8:30 am. In the afternoon, students are given a snack that will be waiting for them when school is over. Usually, a fruit/vegetable and a whole grain snack. 

Does LEDP offer care on half days as well?

Yes! We offer care from when the students are done with school at about 12:15 until 6:00 pm, as usual. On these days, we do not provide a snack as we provide a meal (ex. Pizza) at about 3:00 pm. 

Do we offer tuition assistance? 

We do! We are currently working and accepting ELRC. We are willing to work with other tuition assistance/reimbursement programs as well! 

Does my family have to do both mornings and afternoons? 

No, we offer flexible schedules.  We offer different tuition rates based on what days and times you need and want. Feel free to reach out about how we can help your family.

How much is tuition? 

5 morning and afternoon sessions = $477.35/ per month 

5 morning sessions only OR 5 afternoon sessions only = $288.41/ per month.
